UDevS Club Terms and Conditions
Welcome to the UDevS Club! By becoming a member, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:
1.1. Membership is open to all students, staff and affiliates of the University for Development Studies, Ghana, who have an interest in coding and software development.
1.2. Membership is subject to approval by the club's patrons and/or executive committee.
1.3. Members must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
2.1. Members are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
2.2. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of abusive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate expulsion from the club.
2.3. Members must adhere to the University's code of conduct and all applicable laws and regulations.
3.1. Regular meetings will be held as scheduled and communicated to members in advance.
3.2. Members are encouraged to attend meetings and participate in club activities actively.
3.3. Any changes to the meeting schedule will be communicated promptly.
4.1. Members are expected to contribute to discussions, projects, and other club activities.
4.2. Members must respect the opinions and contributions of others.
4.3. Members are encouraged to collaborate and share knowledge and resources.
5.1. The club may provide access to various resources, including software, hardware, and online tools. Members must use these resources responsibly and ethically.
5.2. Unauthorized use of the club's resources for personal or commercial purposes is prohibited.
6.1. Any work created by members during club activities, including code, projects, and presentations, remain the intellectual property of the club.
6.2. Members are encouraged to share other work with the club, but proper attribution must be given to the original creator.
7.1. The club will collect and maintain personal information for membership purposes only.
7.2. Members' personal information will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.
8.1. The club reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
8.2. Any changes to the terms and conditions will be communicated to members promptly.
9.1. The club is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage that may occur during club activities.
9.2. Members participate in club activities at their own risk.
10.1. Membership may be terminated by the club's patrons and/or executive committee (with approval from the patrons) for violations of these terms and conditions or other misconduct.
10.2. Members may resign from the club at any time by notifying the executive committee or patrons.
